The Finding Magic in Midlife Radio Show was produced and archived by Exceptional Wisdom Radio from August 2008 through June 1013, when EWR went off the air. I’m moving the show archives to Choosing To Be Fit because much of the wisdom I’ve gained about creating a body- mind-spirit fitness lifestyle came from reading books by and talking with these exceptional midlife women. The interviews are timeless. I hope you will get to know some of these brilliant, talented, and inspirational women and learn from them as I did.

Cassie Schindler was interviewed on the Finding Magic in Midlife Show in November of 2009.
After a diagnosis of MS (multiple sclerosis) eleven years ago, Cassie Schindler has successfully healed her nervous system and taken on the awesome task of sharing her roadmap for life balance and healing with individuals and corporations.
In 2005, Cassie founded The Alternate Path organization, which focuses on a variety of personal healing tools for those seeking wellness in a world gone mad. Twenty-five years in corporate America as a highly successful sales/marketing executive, while juggling her roles as wife and mother, has prepared Cassie to take on this full-time devotion to the business of balance.
In addition to workshops/retreats and speaking engagements throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, Cassie has recently joined the writing team of a new online blogazine called WisdomWoman.com, the brainchild of her artist/sister Jessica Wesolek. The WW blog is targeted to midlife women of wisdom, who are invited to stop in to replenish, experience and interact in this creative and enriching electronic environment.
Cassie’s recent book, BAL•abund•ANCE holds the mirror for all wise women, allowing them to see themselves in the highly recognizable stages of life that most women pass through on their way to balance and abundance. Cassie believes that bal•abund•ance is a state of mind that becomes a woman, following years of experimenting, learning and finally, appreciating the gifts that life has given.
